Privacy and cookies

This page explains exactly what this site records, in plain language. Last updated September 22, 2026.

The one cookie we set

If you click Accept on the cookie notice, the site sets a single first-party cookie named mvid. It holds a random id (a UUID) and lasts one year. It does not contain your name, email, or anything about you. We use it to count unique visitors and to show each visitor the same version of a page we are testing.

If you click Decline, no cookie is set and no events are recorded. Every part of the site, including the application form, the quiz, and the booking link, works exactly the same.

What we log, if you accept

• Page views, how far you scroll (25, 50, 75, 100 percent), and clicks on the main buttons.
• Which version of a tested headline, button, or pricing layout you saw.
• Form progress: started, which step, submitted.
• Application answers. They go to our Google Form and Google Sheet, and a backup copy is kept in the same database on our server so no application is lost. This backup is saved whether or not you accepted the cookie.
• Quiz completions, including the email address you enter on the quiz, so we can send the summary and follow up if you ask.

The hashed IP fallback

To avoid counting one person as several visitors when a cookie is unavailable, our server computes a SHA-256 hash of your IP address combined with a secret salt and stores only that hash. The raw IP address is never written to disk or logs. The hash cannot be reversed into an address.

Where the data lives

Event data is stored in a database on a server we control. It is not shared with advertising networks and there are no third-party analytics scripts on this site. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which may see your IP address as part of serving the font files. Application and quiz submissions go to Google Forms, Google Sheets, and Google Calendar under our account.

What we never do

• Sell or rent your information to anyone.
• Add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.
• Track you across other websites.

Your choices

Clear your cookies to remove the visitor id. To have your quiz or application data deleted, email ronaldhoodjr@gmail.com and we will do it within a few days.
