Ronald is a Yale graduate in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry, with a certificate in Data Science, and a 2021 Goldwater Scholar, one of 410 awarded nationally from more than 5,000 nominees, for his research on protein electron transfer in Dr. Nikhil Malvankar's lab. He served as president of the Ivy League Space Coalition and now works as an engineer at a leading Silicon Valley tech company.

How is this different from a big admissions agency?
You work directly with Ronald, not a junior counselor reading from a script. Every essay gets his eyes. At large agencies you buy the founder's reputation and get assigned to someone else. The cap on students per season exists specifically so that never happens here.
When should we start?
Earlier is better, and there is a 9th/10th grade track. But most families arrive in 11th or 12th grade, and the Essay Sprint was built exactly for senior-year crunch time. Reach out now and we will tell you honestly what is realistic in the time you have.
Do you guarantee admission?
No honest counselor can. What is guaranteed: the work gets done to a high standard, on schedule, or your money back on the Sprint. For the full intensive, if your student is not admitted to a top-50 school on their list, Ronald keeps coaching free through waitlists and transfer applications until they are.
What happens on the free intro call?
Twenty minutes: where the student stands, where they want to go, and an honest read on whether coaching will move the needle. If it is not the right fit, we will tell you.
Where do sessions happen?
Video calls. Students join from everywhere. In-person is available for families in the San Francisco Bay Area.
